If you are considering a type rating to make yourself more marketable, the Airbus A‑320 should be on your short list!
Airbus A‑330 Type Rating
The Airbus A‑330 is Airbus’ medium to long range aircraft with a range of 2,700 to 7,250 NM. It can accommodate up to 335 passengers or carry 154,000 lbs of cargo. With more than 1,300 airframes in service, it ranks as one of the most popular aircraft in the long-range twin engine jetliner category.
Airbus CCQ Courses
A key component of the Airbus design strategy has been to harmonize the cockpit design across its fleet. This approach allows crews to more easily transition from one Airbus airframe to another.
The term Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) refers to a series of transition courses which allow qualified pilots to easily earn further airbus type ratings; CCQ offers a reduced footprint by taking advantage of the technical similarities and common operational and handling procedures of Airbus airframes.
