FTI played a major role in my transition from the military. Many of the instructors of FTI have a military background which gives them credibility and common ground for military students to relate with. That gives them an edge in their ability to communicate properly in teaching what military pilots already have learned to what they will need to know in the airlines. FTI’s training program is on par, if not better, with any training I had in the military which is directly attributable to the professionalism of FTI’s staff. In addition to the intangibles that FTI has, their tangible asset of training in United Airlines’ simulators was an incredible training opportunity and one that helped me from day one when I started training at United. Anyone who desires to fly for United should consider FTI first when looking at any training while preparing for a major airline!

FTI offers a great program that took me from the ATP-CTP all the way to my ATP rating. It’s the only program I found that can do it all at the same location minimizing traveling and other related costs. Doing the training on the airplane I will soon do my airline screening in was a huge bonus and it was very affordable. The United Airlines training center is top notch to say the least. I’m not much of an online/social media reviewer, but these guys deserve every bit of it. I was looking for a reasonably priced ATP-CTP. Not only is their price highly competitive, but they also offered stand alone ATP and or type ratings in the best narrow body sims in the world (no exaggeration) for a terrific price. On top of that, I quickly discovered that their staff strives to deliver the best experience they can deliver, and was highly responsive. The instructors are among the best in the industry, being well qualified and with lifetimes of real legacy airline experience. If given the choice between FTI and place like FSI or CAE, you would not be making a mistake with FTI.
