Refund Policy

  1. Unaccepted Students; Discontinued Courses. Students not accepted by FTI are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid, less the cost of applicable training materials including courier/ shipping fees. Students shall be entitled to a similar refund in the event that FTI discontinues the course/program within a period of time the Student could have reasonably completed it.
  2. Student Cancellation. Refunds will be granted to Students who provide written notice of their cancellation solely as provided in the following schedule:

Within 3 business days of deposit:Full refund of all tuition and fees paid, less
1.     unrefunded* simulator equipment rental fees; and
2.     the cost of fees, books and courier/shipping fees.
More than 60 days prior to Start Date**:Refund of tuition, less:
1.     unrefunded simulator equipment rental fees;
2.     cost of applicable training materials including courier/shipping fees; and
3.     a cancellation fee of $150 to cover administrative expenses.
Between 30 to 60 days prior to Start Date:Refund of tuition and fees less:
1.     unrefunded simulator equipment rental fees;
2.     instructor travel, instructor per diem, hotel and car rental expenses;
3.     cost of applicable training materials including courier/shipping fees; and
4.     $500 cancellation fee to cover administrative costs.
Less than 30 days prior to Start Date:No refunds

*Certain third-party simulator providers have limited refund policies
**For purposes of this Agreement, “Start Date” means the date of the initial class provided for the applicable Invoice.

  1. Timing of Refunds. All refunds will be made within 60 days from the date of receipt of written notice of termination.
